SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Thank you for shopping at ByrnaDenver.com. We are committed to processing and
delivering your order safely and efficiently. Because we sell Byrna non-lethal self-
defense devices, chemical irritant projectiles, and compressed air components, certain
federal DOT regulations and state/local shipping restrictions apply.
1. Order Processing Time
  • Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and major holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
  • Order Tracking: You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to populate.
2. Shipping Methods & Ground Transportation Rules

Due to federal transportation regulations regarding pressurized gas (CO2 cartridges)
and chemical irritant projectiles (Byrna Pepper / Byrna Max):
  • Ground Shipping Only: Orders containing CO2 cartridges or chemical irritant projectiles must ship via Ground transit. Air or expedited shipping options (e.g., Overnight, 2-Day Air) are not available for these items.
  • Standard Delivery Time: Standard ground delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location within the continental United States.

3. State & Local Shipping Restrictions

Certain states, counties, and municipalities restrict or prohibit the shipment of self-
defense pepper spray launchers, chemical irritant projectiles, or high-capacity pepper
devices.

Chemical Irritant Restrictions (Pepper / Max Projectiles):

We cannot ship Byrna Pepper or Byrna Max projectiles to the following locations (list
subject to change based on local regulation updates):
  • New York
  • Massachusetts
  • Michigan
  • Wisconsin
  • California (restricted chemical formulas apply)
  • Washington, D.C.
  • International / U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands)
Note: Non-lethal kinetic (solid/eco) projectiles and launchers without chemical rounds
may be eligible for shipment to certain restricted states, provided local age and
registration laws permit.
Buyer Responsibility: It is the customers sole responsibility to verify local, county, and
state laws prior to ordering. If an order is placed with a shipping address in a restricted
jurisdiction, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
4. Age Verification & Adult Signature Requirements
  • You must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 where required by local law) to purchase Byrna products.
  • To prevent underage access and meet merchant compliance standards, certain high-value launcher packages may require an Adult Signature (18+ or 21+) upon delivery.

6. P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO Addresses

Because pressurized CO2 and chemical irritants are regulated by hazardous materials
(HAZMAT) for transport, we cannot ship Byrna launchers, CO2, or pepper and MAX
projectiles to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or DPO military addresses. Please provide a
physical street address at checkout.

7. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages
  • Damaged Items: Inspect your package upon arrival. If your shipment arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and items and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Missing/Stolen Packages: If your tracking indicates "Delivered" but you have not received your shipment, check with household members or neighbors first. If unresolved, contact us within 3 business days so we can file a claim with the carrier. We are not responsible for missing items that the Carrier documents as “Delivered”. Porch Pirate thefts, missing packages or a delivery location error from the Carrier are not our responsibility. However, we will work with you to assist in resolving any of these issues.
