Welcome to Byrna Denver (the "Site"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern
your access to and use of our website, services, and purchase of products offered on
this Site, operated on the Shopify platform.
By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on this Site, you agree to be bound by
these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.
1. Age Requirement & Compliance 
By placing an order on this Site, you certify under
penalty of perjury that:
  • You are at least 18 years of age (or 21 where required by state/local law).

  • You are legally permitted to purchase, receive, and possess Byrna products and accessories under all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • You are not purchasing these products on behalf of a minor or any person prohibited by law from possessing self-defense devices.
2. Product Description &Less-Lethal Classification
Byrna devices are sold as less-lethal, personal self-defense equipment. While less-lethal, improper use or misuse of Byrna launchers and projectiles can result in serious bodily injury or legal consequences. You assume full responsibility for learning the proper handling, safety, and legal usage of all purchased items.
3. Shipping Restrictions & Legal Compliance
Due to varying state, county, and municipal laws, certain Byrna launchers, chemical irritant projectiles (e.g., Byrna Pepper, Byrna Max), or accessories cannot be shipped to specific jurisdictions.
  • State & Local Laws: It is your sole responsibility as the buyer to know and abide by all local laws regarding the purchase and possession of self-defense sprays and pepper launchers.
  • Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel any order addressed to a jurisdiction where the possession or shipment of the ordered item is restricted or illegal.
  • Shipping Methods: All chemical irritants and pressurized CO2 cartridges must ship via ground transportation in accordance with federal DOT regulations.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Merchant Processor Authorizations
  • Order Acceptance: All orders placed through our Shopify storefront are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion (e.g., suspected fraud, legal restrictions, pricing errors).
  • Payment Processing: Payment is processed at the time of order placement. By submitting your payment information, you authorize our credit card processor to charge your card for the total amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
  • Chargebacks & Fraud: Fraudulent chargebacks or false claims will be contested to the fullest extent permitted by law and reported to relevant authorities and credit agencies.
5. Limitation of Liability & Assumption of Risk
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Byrna Denver, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:
  • The purchase, possession, misuse, or proper use of any Byrna product.

  • Personal injury or property damage resulting from the handling or firing of any device or projectile.
  • Failure of the customer to comply with local laws and regulations.
By purchasing from Byrna Denver, you assume all risk associated with the
possession and use of the products.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty
Returns: "Unopened, unused items may be exchanged or returned within 10
days of delivery..." Any consideration of opened, used or unused is at the
discretion of the Owner at Byrna Denver. Byrna product issues are handled by
the manufacturer (Byrna or other vendors) either via a warranty repair or other
action. Note: Not all issues are warranty related due to a Manufacturer’s Defect
in Material or Workmanship. Byrna Denver, at our discretion and only with
permission from Byrna Customer Service, may exchange a product for another to
expedite the situation.
  • Restricted Returns: Pressurized CO2 cartridges and chemical irritant projectiles are non-returnable due to safety regulations once shipped.
  • Refunds: not automatically provided – we may suggest an exchange for a similar item of similar value. Any refund if provided is offered as a goodwill gesture at our sole discretion and may include a 10% re-stocking fee
  • Manufacturer Warranty: Byrna products are backed by Byrna Technologies Inc.’s official manufacturer warranty. Please refer to the official Byrna documentation included with your product for warranty claims and support. Contact Byrna Customer Service should you have additional questions at 978-868-5011.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
